Our games support any alphanumeric currency code (A–Z, 0–9) of up to 5 characters.
Examples: COINS, BTC, DOGE, USD, USDT, EUR, POINT, PTS, SC, GC, etc.

We can also display Unicode currency symbols (e.g., $, €, £), subject to font/rendering support and UI constraints on the target devices/browsers.

How the currency is set

The currency is chosen per game session. When you request a play token (see Generate Game Play Token), you pass the currency parameter — for example USD, GBP, POINT, GC, SC, DOGE, BTC or USDT — and that code is used for every operation of the session. The balance, bet and win requests your wallet receives (see Receive Data from RGS-CWS API - Seamless Wallet) carry the same currency value, and the player username may arrive with a currency suffix in the form username_CURRENCY (e.g. john_USD) — remove the suffix to get the original username.

A dual-currency sweepstakes setup (Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins) works the same way: GC and SC are two session currencies, each opened with its own code, so a player switching between them plays in a session of that currency.

Which codes are available

Standard three-letter ISO codes are accepted (the full list is at iban.com/currency-codes), together with the custom codes used by social, sweepstakes and crypto operators. The codes already in use are listed in the FAQ (EUR, USD, GBP, Points, BRL, ARS, mBTC, CREDITS, MYR, BTC, uBTC, ICX, CNY, PHP, THB, VND, KWR, JPY, cent, DKK, GC, SC, SSC, FC). A code that is not yet enabled on your operator account is added on request: open a support ticket with CWS Support and name the code.
